Beeswax Candles
Our bees wax candles are made with pure, unrefined Saskatchewan bees wax straight from the apiary.Unlike many candle makers, we don’t refine our beeswax, we just filter it. Unrefined bees wax gives off negative ions that cleanse the air and lift your spirits.
You know that great feeling you get when you go to the ocean or outside after a thunderstorm? That’s caused by negative ions in the air.
Negative ions are created by the ocean, waterfalls, rain and thunder… and by burning unrefined bees wax.
We don’t get to choose the quality of the air outside our homes. Inside our homes, it makes little sense to burn the same petroleum that fuels a diesel truck – in the form of a paraffin candle – when Mother Nature has given us sweet scented, air cleansing beeswax.
Bees wax is the longest burning of all candle waxes. It burns cleaner, produces more light than petroleum based paraffin candles and is non-toxic, non-allergenic and non-carcinogenic.
Ours are hand poured and hand dripped with 100% pure Saskatchewan beeswax. Unlike some popular “bees wax” candles, ours are not combined with paraffin. We use 100% cotton wicks with no metal core.
