About

Because we are not the only generation that will walk this Earth, our candles are natural and environment friendly.
We do not sell, use or endorse use of paraffin candles because parrafin is a petroleum product, just like gasoline or asphalt.
Paraffin wax is, essentially, the sludge that comes out of the back end of the petroleum refinery process, bleached all nice and white and scented with pretty fragrance so you don’t even notice that you’re burning petroleum in your house.
See the difference?

We went to a local store and purchased a typical jar candle , then we made one of our own Soy candles. Both candles were in 24 oz. jars. Over a period of days we burned the two side by side for a minimum of two hours at a time.
The jar on the left is paraffin. See that nasty black stuff? It gets in the air you breathe, too.
The jar on the right is soy wax. When the candle was finished, a little soap and water and the jar was as clean as new.
That’s why we don’t use paraffin and we do use soy. So your candles and tarts are safe to burn. And that’s what we’re about.
But Don’t Be Fooled!
We are sad to say that in the USA and Canada, the laws regarding candle labelling are very – shall we say – relaxed? If you buy a candle that says “Beeswax” or “Soy” on the label, all that means is that the candle *has* beeswax or soy in it.
One of the biggest beewax candle sellers on-line makes their “beeswax” candles of 50% paraffin. Likewise, one of the biggest Soy Candle retailers on-line makes their “soy” candles of 50% paraffin.
There are only two ways to know if you’re getting the real thing. One is to know the feel of real unrefined beeswax, the feel of real unaltered soy wax and real, unmixed palm wax. The other way is to trust the company you buy from not to put toxins in your candles.
We promise never to compromise on quality. That’s why our candles are a little more expensive than other candles. We think your health and our environment are worth it.
